All praise is due and to Allaah. May the praise and peace of Allaah be upon the Messenger of Allaah, his family, his companions and all who follow his guidance. We praise Allaah, both initially and finally, for His innumerable and incomprehensible blessings.

From the blessings which He bestowed upon us is that He granted us the ability to establish the website ‘Miraath-al-Anbiyaa’ (Inheritance of the Prophets) - the name of which is derived from the statement of the Prophet Muhammad (may the praise and peace of Allaah be upon him) ; “ …and certainly the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets and the Prophets did not leave wealth as an inheritance, they only left behind knowledge, so whoever takes from it, has taken an abundant portion…”

Reported by Abu Dawood, At-Tirmidhee and Ibn Hibbaan, and this is the wording found in his collection, in abridged form. Al-Bukhaaree mentioned in his Saheeh Collection in his Book of Knowledge, Chapter: Knowledge precedes Speech and Action, the part from it: “The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets.”

A great deal of effort has been spent over a considerable period of time so that this website would eventually emerge in this renewed and reorganised form. If Allaah Wills, this site will be a blessed extension to the broadcasting of Salafi Duroos (lessons/lectures etc), initiated in the Hijri year 1421 corresponding to 2001, which has not ceased transmitting, all praise being due to Allaah, and continues to function twenty four hours a day with both live and pre-recorded lectures. This has clearly born its ripe fruit over these years, throughout which it has traversed upon the methodology of Ahl-as-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah emanating from the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah (way) of His Messenger (may the praise and peace of Allaah be upon him) in accordance with the understanding of the pious predecessors of this Ummah, as far as can be from the disgraceful partisanship which has weakened the Ummah, dissolved its unity and awakened the aversion of its enemies towards it.

During its initial stages, Salafi Duroos began by relaying pre-recorded lectures of the noble scholars. It then developed to transmitting live lectures of the scholars via ‘Paltalk’ located on the audio section of the website; subsequently a great number of lectures were translated into the English language and broadcasted live. This clearly had a huge, positive impact on the Da'wah (the call to the correct understanding of Islam) of non-Arabic-speaking muslims.

In order to continue and enhance these blessed (If Allaah Wills) efforts, a specific office was established from where the website supervisors work throughout the day. As a result of this effort, several seminars and courses that occurred both inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were also broadcast. So the ‘Miraath-al-Anbiyaa’ website which contains this blessed broadcasting station also includes many other important features related to Da'wah and the propagation of correct Islamic knowledge. Some of these features are already established and functioning whilst others are still in the process of being produced such as:

• An audio section for broadcasting lectures.

• A section of transcribed lectures, some of which have been published by ‘Dar al-Nashr’ carrying the name of our website.

• A section dedicated to Fataawa (Islamic verdicts) where we strive to forward your questions to the people of knowledge.

• A section containing articles & statements of the Scholars and students of knowledge whose credibility has been attested to by the people of knowledge.

Those wishing to volunteer and participate with us in any of these projects should contact us, may Allaah reward them. In order to facilitate the continuation of this good work, and for no other objective, we intend to generate funds by making recorded lectures available for purchase via the website. Any profits made will be directly re-invested into the running of this website.

For this reason we wish to make it very clear, that all material specific to this website, together with any content of the audio section is for personal benefit only, therefore it is strictly prohibited for anyone to sell or in any way trade with the mentioned material. However if any individual (or organisation) wishes to acquire copies of any of our material they should contact the general supervisor via the contact us so we can arrange to send the type and amount of material required. Again, we wish to reiterate that any financial profits generated are to be spent on the running of the website.

Throughout all of this, we by no way claim perfection, the reality is that we are merely striving, little though it may be, towards fulfilling the obligation of Da'wah (calling to) the way of Allaah the Most High, and directing people to the correct Path. We are never in no need of advice, guidance or constructive criticism, rather any of that will be received with an open mind and certain eagerness.
