Taking out Loans from Work

Qn1: There’s a company which gives out loans to its employees but these loans are taken from a bank which deals with interest. Is it permissible for the employees to take out these loans?

Ans.1: If this company that deals with its employees in this way is free from dealing with interest, then there’s no harm in this. If for example the company lends you 500 and you return it in the same amount, then there’s no problem with this because it depends on the principle of the company itself and we know that the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) used to interact with the Jews and they dealt with each other. However, if the company requires from the employee to pay back the loan with some interest (extra), then this is not permissible because this is supporting dealing with interest which is not permissible.
