Permissibility of reciting Qur'aan in prostration

Qn24: Is it permissible to say the following supplication from the Qur’an in my Sujud (prostration) of prayer,

رَبَّهُ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
{...O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors.} Suraah al-Anbiyaa:89?

Ans.24: This is a statement is mentioned in the Qur’aan and is from the supplications which are many in the Qur’aan such as many other like, ‘O Allaah do not cause our hearts to be deviated, O Allaah give us wives and let us have leaders from the pious people, O our Lord give us good in the life and the Hereafter, etc.’ Although these are all Ayaah, they are also supplications so there is no problem for a Muslim to make du’aa using them in his prostration because they are comprehensive du’aat. So this verse which was mentioned in the question referring to the Prophet Zakariyah (‘alayhi sallam) and he made du’aa using this statement hoping for Allaah to give him a son or a child so there is nothing wrong for a Muslim to use this in sajdah or between the Adhaan and the Iqaamah, or the last part of the Tashaahud, or the last third of the night and this is because this supplication is taken from the statements of the Qur’aan; and this is also valid for supplications of the Sunnah. And Allaah Knows Best.
