Ans.57: My daughter, first I always affirm that it is always better to receive your knowledge from the people of knowledge rather than from books and tapes as it is necessary for every man and woman as much as they can. Whoever has the ability to summarise some of the explanations and teach it to others, then this is a good thing. You may have heard what you said in your question and that may have been the case it couldn’t be elaborated, but I now say that it is always better to take a knowledge from its people, whether language, science or Shari’ah. However if some has enough intellect and understanding to summarise the scholars’ words and share that then this is a good thing.
