Ans.249: I have not come across any narration in the Qur’aan and Sunnah which limit the colour which is legislated for hijab. However, what we have is that the cloth and clothing should not be see-through, resemble that of the disbelievers and that of men, as that which is specifically for men is haram (not permissible) for women and that which is specifically for women is haram for men.
